They're made with 100% aramid, no nylon filler. It's the most flame-retardant polymer you can get. The only material certified for use in fire-fighting equipment.
We treat these with a light wax coating so they stay tied and they're easy on your eyelets.
Waxed to stay stay tight
A dry-touch waxed coating keeps the laces tight on the job and the trail.
100% Aramid - Won't Burn
Aramid fibers have been used in fire-resistant equipment for years. They're the gold standard for flame-retardant materials.
These laces are 100% aramid, no nylon filler.
If your line of work takes you to high temperatures, you're going to like these.
These laces worked perfectly in my work boots! My old pair was frayed and way too long. For years, I wrapped them around the boots or double-tied them. I'm not sure why I never replaced them, but after 15 years, it was definitely time, lol. Yes, my boots are sturdy! They were also super expensive, but I've definitely gotten my money's worth. The laces, on the other hand, are a different story, even though I have to give them credit for lasting fifteen years. These new laces are precisely what I was looking for, and they are the perfect length! They look great and feel incredibly durable. I don't plan on keeping these boots after I retire, but I have no doubt my laces will last until that day. Overall, these laces are perfect, and I'm confident they will last the entire life of the boots. I'm really happy with these laces and highly recommend them to anyone looking for solid, heavy-duty laces for boots.

Nice!
These heavy duty laces are perfect for my boots. They are sturdy and true to size, and I love that they are fire resistant. Two thumbs up!

Strong laces.
These laces are strong and abrasive resistant, which makes them great for work boots. The outside weave it like a cotton look but is synthetic and slightly waxed. The inner portions are a material called aramid, that is very strong. While I have not tested the fireproof nature of them and I am not planning to use them welding, it is nice to know that they have fire resistance to them. Even though they are strong, I do not find them too stiff to tie and hold a knot well. For the price I am quite happy with the quality.

Decent, serviceable, not sure about fire/ heat resistance yet.
First, I would like to say that I received these laces through Amazon Vine, however, I pride myself with my honest reviews and integrity. Now, onto the review. At first I was actually underwhelmed with these laces and intended to give them a 4/5 as they are serviceable but I wasn't particularly impressed. I am a former firefighter so I am actually part of the target audience for these particular type of laces. However, I realized that I was probably being unnecessarily harsh. Upon reflection the only things I didn't like were the "fuzziness" and aglets on the end seemed to slip a bit when I was lacing up my boots with them. I prefer a less "fuzzy" type of lace, but that was only personal preference. I had just expected more of the "waxed' style laces that I already had on some of my uniform boots based on the description. Instead, they are pretty typical in appearance. I also double-checked the aglets and noticed I was probably mistaken, I had just seen a little white at the tip from the core of the lace showing though. I found them to be the correct length, the color on my web browser is almost an exact match to what a received, which is nice. They have a little stretch and give, but not too much. I haven't exposed them to heat yet and they are still very new so I will have to update on both their durability and heat resistance in the future. I was also impressed with a nice, "no questions asked" return policy, always reassuring compared to a lot of business these days. Based on these early experiences, I can say I will probably buy more of them in the future if they live up to the claims of durability and heat resistance.
